CPU is the largest pharmaceutical university in the world in terms of student number and one of the “211 project” key universities affiliated to the Ministry of Education.
Pharmacy program ranks No. 1 and traditional Chinese pharmacy program No. 3 in China according to the latest official evaluation from the Ministry of Education of China and one of the top 200 universities in Asia according to Quacquarelli Symonds(on eout of 47 in China).
The earliest university to admit full-time pharmacy students from overseas and the host institution of Chinese Government Scholarship students.
We consider applicants on the basis of academic merits. Although the entry requirements for our degrees vary depending on the course, evidence of relevant personal, professional and educational experience may also be taken into consideration.
Applicants are required to havegraduated from High School.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the course.

This program combinesthe study of theories on pharmaceutical issues and intensive training inresearch technologies. The program is intended to provide students withstrong scientific and technical backgrounds. The program is designed to preparestudents for research and academic careers in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceuticalanalysis, pharmaceutical assessment, clinical rational drug application, pharmaceuticaladministration, research, design, production and management of new medicine.
Students in thisprogram spend the first 2 years studying the basic sciences, biology andchemistry courses. In the first semester of the 3rd Year of their undergraduatestudy, student must choose from different areas of concentration. Upongraduation, students must have completed core courses, lab courses, practicumand thesis writing.

2. Check admission requirements
Make sure you are aware of entry requirements for the University and confirm you meet all the entry requirements including Chinese/English language, academic entry.
Submit the completed application form along with other required documents before the deadline.
4. Application assessment
The Admission Office will acknowledge receipt of your application. You should be notified of the outcome of your application within two weeks. If you are eligible for your chosen program, Acceptance letter will be sent to you via email. If you are not eligible, we may suggest an alternative program.
5. Acceptance letter
After receiving the acceptance letter, you will need to:
Check the personal information on the letter carefully and make sure all are correct;
Make your first-year tuition payment and insurance and forward the bank receipt
The first-year tuition fee, quoted in Chinese RMB must be paid along with the insurance fee. The insurance is a compulsory medical insurance required by Chinese government to all students Visa holders. Tuition fee covers the cost of tuition only.
6. Admission notice and JW202 form (visa application form)
Once you confirmed the personal information and made the payment, an admission notice and a JW202 form will be issued to you by the university which you can use to apply for a student visa for entry into China. We encourage you to apply for you student visa as soon as you receive the two documents. A pre-departure information package will also be forwarded to you with the above two documents.
